PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment Policy

Deposit: 

  • For double occupancy bookings, a non-refundable deposit of $350 per person is required.

  • For single occupancy bookings, a non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required.​

Recurring Payments:

  • After your deposit is paid, you will receive a recurring invoice that details the total cost of your trip, the deposit paid, and your monthly payment schedule. The Flexi Payment Plan allows you to pay for your trip in equal monthly installments.

Cancellation Policy

Reservation Confirmation: 

  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of your first payment. You have 24 hours from the time of booking to cancel for a full refund.

Cancellations After 24 Hours:

  • If you cancel after the 24-hour window, only 50% of your deposit qualifies for a credit toward a future trip. This credit is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Rescheduled Trips Due to a Pandemic:

  • If a trip is rescheduled due to a pandemic and you have already paid in full but are unable to attend on the new date, please note that refunds will not be provided. This is because payments to suppliers and tour operators are non-refundable once disbursed.

Non-Refundable Monthly Payments:

  • Monthly payments toward your McXotic Tour are non-refundable. Your deposit serves as confirmation of your trip.

Transfer of Payments:

  • In certain circumstances, such as the loss of a job or the loss of a family member, payments may be transferred to a future trip for a fee of $75. Only one transfer is permitted.

Cancellations Due to Force Majeure:

  • If a trip is canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or pandemics, McXotic Tours will work to reschedule the trip. However, refunds cannot be provided as payments to suppliers are non-refundable. In the event of such force majeure, we will offer a credit towards a future trip, valid for one year.

Final Payment Deadlines:

  • Final payment deadlines are critical. If final payment is not received by the specified date, your reservation may be canceled, and all payments made up to that point will be forfeited. Please ensure that your payment plan is completed by the due date to avoid cancellation.

Trip Modifications and Substitutions:

  • If you need to change your travel dates or substitute another traveler in your place, this can be done for a fee of $100, provided that the request is made at least 60 days before departure. Substitutions are subject to availability and may require additional charges, depending on the travel arrangements.

No-Show Policy:

  • If you fail to arrive for your trip without prior notice, all payments made will be forfeited. No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

Cancellation Process:

  • To cancel your trip, you must complete the Trip Cancellation Form—no exceptions will be made. The form ensures that we have all necessary information to process your cancellation or transfer request efficiently.​​​
